Financing & Paperwork

Because we are always striving to make your dental experience as convenient as possible, we have placed computers in all of our treatment rooms, we offer a wide range of financing options and now you can download and prepare your patient dental forms before you come in to the office. Please just remember to bring it to the appointment!

Dental Insurance

We will be happy to file your dental insurance after we receive all the necessary information, as a courtesy. We will call to verify insurance coverage and history for every patient. When verifying benefits, we ask for the most common dental procedures. This provides a guideline to how the patient’s plan is set up with their insurance provider. It is in no way a comprehensive outline of a policy. Any information we are told or received from an insurance company is not a guarantee of payment. It is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to know how their plan works and what their plan covers.

Dental Plans vary from company to company and many offer different plans. Some plans are based on calendar year or plan year. They usually have a yearly maximum and deductible. Insurance plans pay based on their allowances for each procedure code. This is usually based on a percentage, but can sometimes be on a fee schedule.

Even though most patients believe they have “two free cleanings a year”, this may not be a truly accurate view of your plan. Usually, any benefit amount that is paid for dental services is subtracted from the plan year maximum.
